Description of difficulty levels

 

1⭐️ out of 5⭐️

Patterns marked with 1⭐️ are suitable for beginners, there are help videos and no difficult techniques.

 

2⭐️ out of 5⭐️

Patterns marked with 2⭐️ are suitable for the slightly experienced knitter who still doesn't want difficult techniques but a project with a bit more detail.

 

4 and 5⭐️ out of 5⭐️

I don't yet have patterns that complicated or full of difficult techniques if these levels apply. They are simply there so that the knitter can put the degrees of difficulty into perspective.

Needles

Circular needle size 4 mm (60, 80 or 100 cm – depending on the increasing number of stitches) and circular needle size 3.5 mm for the edges

Knitting tension

One strand on needle size 4 mm in stocking stitch with color change: 10 x 10 cm = 21 sts x 26 rows after washing and blocking

"Girlfriend"-fit: Size 1
"Boyfriend"-fit: Size (2)

The Girlfriend-fit is designed to fit closer to the body, while the Boyfriend-fit has a more oversized silhouette.

Bust measurement (body measurement, not the garment): 85-90 (100-105) cm

Ease

The measurements above are guidelines. The size is chosen based on the desired fit, so no specific ease is provided for each size. The t-shirt can be adjusted to be either more fitted or looser depending on your choice of size and modifications.

Raglan increases: 32 (40) cm
Sweater length: 54 (65) cm
Sleeve length: 35 (53) cm
Sleeve circumference: 39 (47) cm

The light blue football jersey in the image above is knitted in size 1. My measurements are 88 cm around the bust and 70 cm around the waist.
I'm 1.67 meters tall.

The green football jersey is knitted in size 2. Emil’s measurements are 105 cm around the chest and 84 cm around the waist.
He is 1.98 meters tall.

Color A (primary): 300 (350) g of Hobbii Friends Cotton 8/6 (50 g = 105 m)

Buy yarn here

Hand wash at around 40°C with wool detergent. Lay flat to dry on blocking mats, stretching the piece into the desired shape and securing it with blocking pins. This process allows for a few extra centimeters, as the fabric is easier to shape.
